Geraint Michael John, Legal Consultant and Solicitor

Geraint formed Catrin in 2016 and since then has been building on the legal services that Catrin offers clients based in the United Kingdom, ranging from private individuals to multi national organisations.

Geraint is an EU-based, UK qualified lawyer with a strong background in business affairs and commercial contracts with a particular focus on intellectual property. Catrin primarily advises companies that market and sell tech-based products and services.

 

Having trained as in-house counsel at an international organisation with a global portfolio, Geraint has a key awareness for balancing commercial decisions with legal advice in order to find efficient and cost effective solutions.

 

Over the past 12 months, Catrin  has been focusing on the provision of legal advice in a number of areas including prosecution of UK and EU trade marks applications, trade mark licensing, web domain protection, copyright, database rights and commercial information. Geraint is also a specialist in e-commerce and has created a toolkit for digital platforms. Catrin also provides advice and bespoke documentation surrounding data and privacy  laws applicable in the UK and EU as well as corporate transactions.
